SUMMARY:Forge Tactical Intermediate Distance Carbine
DESCRIPTION:Intermediate Distance Carbine \nThe Forge Tactical Intermediate Distance Carbine course is an 8-hour intermediate level course. This course develops the student’s intermediate range skills (50-300 yards)\, extending the effective range of the 5.56 carbine in the student’s hands to match the capabilities of the platform.  The goal of this course is the achievement of first round hits from 50 to 300 yards.  Topics introduced include basic extended ballistics\, zeroing options\, effects of weather\, range estimation\, shooting positions\, holdover compensation\, common ballistic reticles\, and spotting techniques and communication. This is not a beginner’s course\, so please come ready to work with a zero’d rifle.      \nPrerequisites: US Citizen or ITAR approved person\, and graduate of Forge CQB Skills Course or other reputable carbine operator course. \nEquipment List: \n\nCommon Sense\nRDS or optical sight equipped Carbine with 5 magazines (Carbine should be zero’d when you arrive)\nCarbine magazine pouches\nHandheld and weapon mounted lights\nIFAK and TQ\n500 rounds carbine ammunition (NO GREEN TIP OR AP AMMO IS ALLOWED)\nElectronic hearing protection which fit under your helmet\nEye protection\nWater and snack food\nWeather appropriate clothing\nPen and notebook (you will be taking notes)

DESCRIPTION:Course Cost: $550\nCourse Duration: 2 Days\nCourse Requirements: Open Enrollment\nVehicle CQB is an accelerated shooting class focused on positional shooting and a critical look at how we have historically fought in and around vehicles.  Students will push the boundaries of “traditional” cover and concealment utilizing various cars and trucks in a true 3D environment. Drills will incorporate critical weapon employment while engaging threats in\, around\, from\, over and under vehicles with a heavy emphasis on problem solving. Live ballistic demos with a variety of ammunition will be conducted as the class explores ballistic deflection\, deformation\, penetration and terminal effect in direct correlation to various vehicle mediums. Both days of this course will be long days\, so come prepared. \nIndividual Equipment List:\n\nHandgun with at least 3 magazines (5 if single stack) and magazine pouch.\nHolster must attach via the belt (paddle holsters are not allowed). Holsters must provide an active or passive retention device and be able to keep the holster in place while running or moving in and out of awkward positions. No SERPA or Vanguard type holsters.\n800 rounds handgun ammunition\nCAT or SOF T TQ on your person is mandatory an IFAK is recommended.\nCleaning kit and gun lube.\nEye protection and electronic ear protection.\nLong sleeve shirt\, gloves\, knee pads are mandatory. Elbow pads and shemagh (face wrap) are optional.\nNormal CCW or Full duty belt / tactical loadout (your normal work or EDC setup).\nNotepad\, pen and permanent marker.\nWater and snacks.\n\nCourse Prerequisites:\n\nU.S. Citizen.\nAble to legally carry a firearm.\nAble to demonstrate and employ safe weapons handling during courses of fire.\nPrevious intermediate to advanced firearms training to include courses of fire where movement\, barricades\, working around others\, communicating and adverse shooting positions were addressed.\n\nIf you have any questions about the course\, the prerequisites or what is recommended please do not hesitate to ask us.

If you decide that you want to purchase the gear you rented during the class\, your rental fee will go towards the purchase of the new product. \n  \nNight Fighter: Armed Professional is a restricted class for active duty Military\, Law Enforcement\, Security Personnel\, and vetted civilians such as Night Fighter 101 Graduates (contact training@tnvc.com for vetting requirements). \nUnlike Night Fighter 101 and other “Level 1” Night Vision based courses\, Night Fighter: Armed Professional is designed to provide advanced instruction to professional end-users who have already mastered the fundamentals of low/no-light operations. This course focuses on building upon students’ already established skillsets in both individual and team settings in preparation for real world operations.
