Beginning with gear choice and setup\, the class provides students the tools for learning to safely / effectively move\, shoot\, and communicate in low-light/no-light environments. DESCRIPTION:Course Duration: 5 Days \nCourse Cost: $960 \nCourse Restrictions: LE / MIL / GOV \nVehicle CQB Instructor is now a full 5-day program to include a full day of force on force application. With current use by the FBI\, TX DPS\, RCMP\, Michigan State Police\, NYPD\, USMS\, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association\, Ohio Tactical Officers Association and many others\, the VCQB program has become the national standard within the law enforcement community for vehicle based engagements. \nVCQB Instructor is an accelerated shooting class focused on positional shooting and critical light manipulations in and around vehicles.  Students will push the boundaries of “traditional” cover and concealment utilizing various cars and trucks in a true 3D environment. Drills will incorporate critical weapon employment while engaging threats in\, around\, from\, over and under vehicles with a heavy emphasis on problem solving. Lighting principles and threat assessment all play a major factor in this course. Live ballistic demos with a variety of ammunition will be conducted as the class explores ballistic deflection\, deformation\, penetration and terminal effect in direct correlation to various vehicle mediums. Classroom portions will include video diagnostics\, statistics\, tactics and the science behind why we win and lose around vehicles. \nThe final day of the VCQB instructor program will give students non-lethal training curriculum to advance their department’s status quo past static square range tactics. This dynamic curriculum is developed in a drill format that allows students to experience common avenues of attack by motivated threats in and around vehicles.The curriculum ensures the highest performance from students prior to them encountering an actual engagement. \nStudents will leave with a full instructor packet to include extensive lesson plans\, a power point\, video diagnostics\, diagrams and relevant studies. \nThis course will have long days and a night shoot (depending on range logistics). \nUpon satisfactory completion of this 40 hour course students will be awarded a VCQB Instructor Certification. \nIndividual Equipment List: \n\nHandgun with at least 3 magazines (5 if single stack) and magazine pouch.\nHolster must attach via the belt (paddle holsters are not allowed). Holsters must provide an active or passive retention device and be able to keep the holster in place while running or moving in and out of awkward positions. No SERPA or Vanguard type holsters.\nCarbine with sling. A weapon mounted light is strongly recommended (if allowed by department SOP). A minimum of 3 magazines and a method to secure them is required. Carbine needs to be zeroed prior to class.\n1000 rounds handgun / 600 rounds carbine (no green tip) ammunition\n100 rounds 9mm non-lethal rounds (UTM\, FX\, Simunitions)\n60 rounds 5.56 non-lethal rounds\nPlease note that if you are not using UTM\, we will not have a weapon platform/conversion for you; you will need to provide your own.\nCAT or SOF T TQ on your person is mandatory and an IFAK is recommended.\nA laptop or tablet for nightly homework and a USB drive.\nCleaning kit and gun lube.\nEye protection and electronic ear protection.\nLong sleeve shirt\, gloves\, knee pads are mandatory. Elbow pads and shemagh (face wrap) are optional.\nFull duty belt / tactical loadout (your normal work setup).\nHandheld flashlight\, extra batteries and clear eye protection for low light work.\n2 chem lights (any color).\nNotepad\, pen\, perm marker and thumb drive (needs 4 gigs of available space).\nMulti tool (Multitasker / Gerber / Leatherman).\nWater and snacks.\n\nCourse Prerequisites: \nCurrent LE / mil / gov credentials.\nRecognized basic instructor cert (i.e. POST\, TCOLE\, NRA LE\, etc) is mandatory.\nAble to demonstrate and employ safe weapons handling during courses of fire. \nStrongly Recommended: \n\nRecognized Firearms / Tactics / CQB / Low Light Instructor Certifications are recommended but not required.\nPrevious intermediate to advanced firearms training to include courses of fire where movement\, barricades\, working around others\, communicating and adverse shooting positions were addressed.

SUMMARY:AGS Law Enforcement Basic Sniper/Observer School
DESCRIPTION:Our Basic Sniper School curriculum is designed for new officers who have been assigned to a Sniper/Observer unit for the first time. Even officers\, who have been away from the skill for a while are also afforded a chance to re-learn the basics of the sniper rifle\, and become both proficient and safe in its deployment. This course covers fundamentals of marksmanship\, ballistics\, ammunition selection and usage\, shooting positions\, effects of weather\, data book set up and theory\, team techniques\, known distance range firing from 100 to 300 yds. \nYou will also be introduced to Unknown Distance shooting. This course will then progress to encompass all the relevant skills associated with sniper deployments\, and the decision-making process of using the sniper rifle system. \nInstructional Method: Our program consists of a balanced mix of classroom sessions and hands-on training. We focus on practical training sessions during the entire training program. \nRequired equipment:\no Scoped Rifle capable of 1 MOA accuracy/bipod (.300/.308/.223/.556)\no NO HUNTING RIFLES\no 400 Rounds of Match Grade Ammunition\no Spotting Scope\no Data and or Log Book\no Ear and Eye Protection\no Knee/Elbow Pads\no Clothing suitable for weather conditions\no Any other material/equipment issued to you\, which help you successfully complete this course.\no Note: It is recommended that LE Basic Sniper/Observer students attend in teams of two whenever possible. \nAttendance: The students are required to attend and participate in all classroom lectures\, practical sessions\, and scenario exercises. DESCRIPTION:Sniper Overwatch for SWAT Operations is an advanced 24 hour three-day course designed to enhance sniper confidence supporting SWAT Operations through training conducted in a realistic urban environment. After vetting and review of sniper skills on the range and shoothouse\, training progresses to full mission profile exercises conducted in an actual urban setting. Live-fire sniper support will be integrated with entry team activity. Skills enhanced in this course include the conduct of observation\, sniper-initiated assault\, and spontaneous precision response for typical SWAT missions which include but are not limited to; \nHigh risk warrant service \nBarricaded suspect \nHostage Rescue \nActive Shooter \nThis is an advanced course. The sniper is held to the standard of 100% shot accountability. Failure to demonstrate or maintain standards will result in the sniper being allowed to continue training\, but will not be allowed to participate in live-fire scenarios. \nSniper Overwatch for SWAT Operations including IR and Thermal Image Intensification is a 26 hour two-day course. It has the same POI but with additional night evolutions utilizing Clip-on Night Vision Devices. \nEquipment list \n\n.308 Sniper weapon system and optic capable of 1 MOA or better (preferred). No DMR rifles.\n120 rounds of duty or HPBT ammunition. No armor piercing.  \nAll sniper gear\nAll assaulter weapons and PPE included plate carriers and ballistic helmets. Sniper students will serve on entry team when not performing sniper role. SUMMARY:Black Cloud Ops Practical Team Leader Training
DESCRIPTION:Team Leaders are expected to make sound and timely decisions often in chaotic\, dynamic\, and rapidly changing environments.  Leaders at all levels must be empowered to make decisions.  Decentralized command is a key component to success!  The course objective will be to provide Tactical Team leaders with realistic training and leadership methods that can be applied immediately upon their return. \nThis class will put the Team Leader in scenario-based missions and have them function through the entire process of planning\, execution and an after-action review (AAR).  Students will also be expected to discuss and possibly debrief past scenarios from your Department that had good and/or bad outcomes. \nPlease be ready to work hard during these three days and improve yourself as a leader. \nEquipment List: \nAll normal tactical gear and uniform \nLong gun and sidearm with 200 rds. rifle\, 50 rds. pistol \nSimmuntion or UTM NLTA and protective gear if available(optional) \nInclement weather gear \nHearing and Eye pro \nEach Student will be required to pay a $75.00 range fee on Day one to Alliance pd Range \nCall or email for registration inform \nPractical Team Leader Training.
